When sorrow abounds
When sorrow grips my heart, Jesus is there with me. Pain and sadness flow in, but Jesus is my strength. When I mourn and weep and cry, my King Jesus comforts me. He stands with me, gives me strength, and sets my feet on solid ground. Jesus is my everything, and I love Him so much!
In loss and sorrow, in broken heartedness, in pain and hurt, Jesus is my strength. He is my comfort, in that He lives within me, He stands with me. His existence comforts me, and I love Him! He is an endless river of joy to me, and in life’s storms, Jesus makes me happy, because I know He is real, and He is ever with me.
He is my strength on rainy days; He comforts me in my affliction. Jesus is the sunshine of my life, and when the storms and rain come bellowing in, Jesus shines the light of His love onto me. I have faith in Him, that He is real, and that He lives, and that I have an eternity with my King Jesus ahead of me.
Jesus set me on solid ground
He unclouded my mind, and comforted my broken heart. Jesus took me under His wings, and gave me His strength and peace. He stands with me, even with darkness is over me, and sorrow grips me. Jesus is the pillow I lay my head on at night, my comfort and strength, my peace and my joy.
Through loss, death of loved ones, sickness, sorrow, and pain, Jesus is my rock upon which I stand. He is my peace, my King whom I love, and I love Him with all my heart. Through life’s twists and turns, through cold nights and rainy days, Jesus is always with me, my help and my strength.
He has become my joy, my peace, my strength. My King Jesus, my best friend, is my comfort. He makes me happy, and He shines the light of His love and kindness into my heart and life. Jesus has taken me into His sheepfold, and I love my Shepherd, and I dwell in His presence.
Knowing King Jesus is real
Knowing He is real, that He listens to my prayers, that He hears my voice when I cry out to Him; He is always near to me, always dear to me, my best friend! He is my joy and peace, and I love Him! No sorrow lasts forever; joy comes soon, for I love my Jesus, and He loves me! I love King Jesus!
When I was broken in heart, and watched the seasons change, and the way of my life was shattered, and I hit rock bottom, then Jesus drew me to Himself, and I ran after Him! Through fights with darkness and terrors around, Jesus stood with me, and I found solid ground. Jesus, the Rock of Ages, is with me!
My comfort is not in this world, or in the things of this world, but my comfort is in Jesus Christ, and in Him I make my boast. He is my King whom I love, my Lord whom I adore! Though I’ve been broken before, Jesus picked up the pieces, and put me back together, back on solid ground!
Jesus, my King, has made me heal
He took me under His wing, into the secret place of the Most High, where I laugh and sing with Jesus my King! My Beloved Lord, who died for me, stands with me, and gives me His strength. He is my Shepherd who takes care of me, my Lord who watches over me; I trust in Him, for He is my Lord.
Jesus has taken up my cause; He has pleaded me case, and God my Father took me as His child, and I am now His family. King Jesus is my protection, my Shepherd, who watches over me, who always protects me. He stands with me, and I love Him! Jesus is my strength, and I adore Him!
Through life’s valleys and dark places, I find my refuge in Jesus Christ! He is my hope, my Fortress, and the Rock upon which I stand! I fear no evil, for Jesus is always with me! Jesus, the God of Light, has shined His glorious light into my life. Therefore I walk confidently with my King Jesus, knowing I am forgiven.
Jesus, my strength and joy
He upholds me; He strengthens me. Jesus has strengthened me with His might through His Spirit in my inner person. He has built me up in Himself, rooted and grounded in love, my King whom I adore, my Lord whom I cherish! He is my strength in times of trouble, and nothing can withstand Him.
Jesus saved me; He saved my life, for without Him I would be a shell of a man. He saved my soul, for with Him I will live forever. Jesus has given me forgiveness of sin, provision for each day, and the hope of eternal life. He has made me smile, and put the song of joy and peace in my heart.
Now I am set free and redeemed; now I am blessed, and I make my boast in the LORD of Hosts! King Jesus, Lord of lords and King of kings, has redeemed me, and my sorrows are gone, and my burdens are lifted! My pain has subsided, now I rejoice; and I will rejoice in Jesus Christ, my best friend and Savior!
